6. Hugh² Barker (Robert¹) was born in Culworth, Northamptonshire c1564. Hugh died 8/07/1632 at 68 years of age. His body was interred 1632 in New College Chapel, Oxford.

He married Mary Pyott in Low Leyton, Essex, 5/06/1620. Mary was the daughter of Richard Pyott and Margaret Floyer. Mary died c1654. Her body was interred c1654 in New College Chapel, Oxford. Mary applied for a marriage license to wed an unknown person 20/05/1620. She made a will 13/10/1648. Mary's will was probated 6/05/1654.

He made a will 4/01/1628. Hugh's will was probated 10/10/1632. Dean of the Court of Arches, London. Scholar of Winchester College (Founder's Kin) 1577; Fellow of New College, Oxford, 1586 - 1591; B.C.L. 19 February 1592; D.C.L. 17 June 1605; Master of the Grammar School at Chichester 1604, and subsequently Chancellor of the Diocese of Oxford; Fellow of the College of Advocates, London, 9 June 1607.

Hugh Barker and Mary Pyott had the following child:

11 i. Mary³ Barker was born 25/05/1621. Mary died 1651 in Wickhamford, Worcestershire, at 30 years of age. She married Samuel Sandys in Tottenham, Middlesex, 12/07/1636. Samuel was born c1616. Samuel died 15/04/1685 at 68 years of age. His body was interred 1685 in Ombersley, Worcestershire. i0 of Ombersley, Worcestershire. Married secondly, Elizabeth Washington, widow, by whom he had no issue.
