1. Francis¹ Beaufort was born in Dublin, Ireland 1774. Francis died 17 December 1857 in Colchester, Essex, at 83 years of age.

He married Alicia Magdalena Wilson in St. Marylebone, London, England, 1812. Alicia was born 1782. Alicia was the daughter of Lestock Wilson and Bonne Boileau. Alicia died 28 August 1834 at 52 years of age.

Francis Beaufort and Alicia Magdalena Wilson had the following children:

+ 2 i. Daniel Augustus² Beaufort was born 10 February 1814.

+ 3 ii. Francis Lestock Beaufort was born 13 June 1815.

4 iii. Alfred Edgeworth Beaufort was born 11 January 1817. Alfred died 1869 in London, at 52 years of age. He was christened in St, Mary, St Marylebone Road, London, England, 13 January 1817.

5 iv. Sophia Mary La Bonne Beaufort was born 1819. Sophia died 11 June 1872 at 52 years of age. She married Sir William Palmer in Marylebone, London, 1838. William was born in Ireland 1803. He was listed as head of household in the 1871 census in 62 Montagu Square, St. Marylebone, London. (See Sir William Palmer for the continuation of this line.)

She was listed as a resident in the census report in 62 Montagu Square, St. Marylebone, London, 1871.

6 v. Rosalind Beaufort was born in Epping, Essex 1820. Rosalind died 1904 in Marylebone, London, at 84 years of age.

7 vi. William Morris Beaufort was born in London 20 July 1823. William died 1907 in Westminster, London, at 83 years of age. Bengal Civil Service. Barrister.

8 vii. Emily Anne Beaufort was born 1826. Emily died 1887 at 61 years of age. She married Percy Ellen Frederick William Smythe Strangford 1862. Percy was born 1826. Percy died 1869 at 43 years of age.
