Elizabeth was the daughter of William Percivall Potts and Alicia Friell. Elizabeth died 1847 in Dover, Kent, at 40 years of age. She was christened in Calcutta, Bengal, India, 21 December 1806. She was listed as a resident in the census report in The Vicarage, Barkway, Hertfordshire, 1841. He married Lydia Edmonstone Lumsden in St Dunstans in the East, London, 14 January 1851. Lydia was born in Calcutta, Bengal, India 9 January 1810. Lydia was the daughter of John Lumsden and Magdalene Friell. Lydia died 1879 in Hastings, Sussex, at 69 years of age. She was christened in Calcutta, Bengal, India, 28 February 1810. Lydia was visiting 1851 in 9 Idol Lane, London. William was born in Trieste 8 August 1830. William died 16 March 1886 in Steyning, Sussex, at 55 years of age. He was listed as head of household in the 1881 census in 44 Ventnor Villas, Hove, Sussex.
