11. Duncan Scott³ Pemberton (Robert Boileau², John Butler¹) was born in Bengal, India 25 February 1837. Duncan died 23 August 1888 in Gulmarg, Punjab, India, at 51 years of age.

He married twice. He married Catherine Mcandrew Short 3 July 1862. He married Lilly Sandys 1877. Lilly was born in India 1848. Lilly was the daughter of Mr. Sandys. Lilly died 1919 at 71 years of age. She was listed as a resident in the census report in 10 Hanover Terrace, Kensington, London, 1881. Mother (Head of household) listed as Elizabeth M. Sandys b c. 1831 in Cambridge. Mother's nephew listed as Charles S. Lane, b c. 1864 in India.

He was christened in Calcutta, Bengal, India, 17 March 1837.
