10. Charles Samuel² Reid (John¹) was born 20 November 1807. Charles died 9 April 1876 at 68 years of age.

He married Katherine Cecilia Durie in Cawnpore, India, 13 July 1830. Katherine was born 1811. Katherine died 1875 in Kensington, London, at 64 years of age.

Charles Samuel Reid and Katherine Cecilia Durie had the following children:

41 i. Anne Jane³ Reid was born in Agra, West Bengal, India 1 February 1834. She was christened in Agra, West Bengal, India, 23 April 1834.

42 ii. Charles George Reid was born in Kurnaul, India 11 December 1835.

43 iii. William Bannatyne Reid was born in Cawnpore, India 18 July 1839. He was christened in Cawnpore, India, 12 April 1839.

44 iv. John Reid was born in Calcutta, India 28 August 1840. His body was interred 31 August 1840 in Calcutta, India.
