1. Jean (John)¹ Sherwood was born in Kilbride, Wicklow, Ireland 1743.

He married Louise Droz in Dublin, Ireland, 12 July 1784. Louise was born in Dublin, Ireland 15 July 1747. Louise was the daughter of John Peter Droz and Marguerite (Margaret) Boileau. Louise died 1808 at 60 years of age.

Dublin Who Departed This Life 16th April 1880 Aged 60 5B Table Top Headstone Erected By Mrs Anna Maria Gaynor Killiney House, Co. Dublin In Memory Of Her Dearly Loved Son Captain Henry Droz Gaynor Late Of Her Majestys 39th Regt. Who Died The 7th July 1860 Aged 35.
