10. Humphrey⁸ Vernon (Sir Henry⁷, Sir William⁶, Sir Richard⁵, Sir Richard⁴, Sir William³, Sir Robert², William¹) was born in Tong, Salop, England. 1463. Humphrey died 1542 at 79 years of age.

He married Alice Ludlow 1493. Alice was the daughter of Sir John Ludlow and Elizabeth Grey. Alice died 1531. 3rd son, died in 1542

Humphrey Vernon and Alice Ludlow had the following children:

+ 22 i. George⁹ Vernon.

+ 23 ii. Thomas Vernon.
