56. George¹⁵ Vernon Baron of Kinderton (Henry¹⁴, George¹³, Henry¹², Edward¹¹, Walter¹⁰, Thomas⁹, Humphrey⁸, Sir Henry⁷, Sir William⁶, Sir Richard⁵, Sir Richard⁴, Sir William³, Sir Robert², William¹) was born 9/02/1709. George died 21/08/1780 Sudbury, Derbyshire, at 71 years of age.

He married three times. He married Mary Howard 21/06/1734. Mary was the daughter of Thomas Howard 6th Lord Howard of Effingham. Mary died February 1740. He married Anne Lee December 1741. Anne was the daughter of Sir Thomas Lee. Anne died 22/09/1742. He married Martha Harcourt 10/04/1744. Martha⁽²⁷⁾ was the daughter of Simon Harcourt and Elizabeth Evelyn. Martha died 8/04/1794.

He was christened Sudbury, Derbyshire, 20/02/1709. George was created Baron 1/05/1762. Assumed in 1728 by royal licence the additional surname of Venables.

George Vernon Baron of Kinderton and Martha Harcourt had the following children:

66 i. Anne¹⁶ Venables-Vernon.

67 ii. Elizabeth Venables-Vernon was born 21/01/1746. Elizabeth died 25/01/1826 at 80 years of age. She married George Simon Harcourt 2nd Earl Harcourt 26/09/1765. George was born 1/08/1736. George was the son of Simon Harcourt 1st Earl Harcourt and Rebecca Le Bas. George died 25/04/1809 at 72 years of age.

+ 68 iii. Henry Venables-Vernon 3rd Baron Vernon was born 18/04/1747.

69 iv. Catherine Venables-Vernon was born 31/08/1749. Catherine died 8/06/1775 at 25 years of age. Died unmarried.

70 v. Martha Venables-Vernon was born 25/12/1751. Martha died June 1808 at 56 years of age.

+ 71 vi. Edward Venables-Vernon was born 10/10/1757.

George Vernon Baron of Kinderton and Mary Howard had the following children:

+ 72 vii. George Venables-Vernon 2nd Baron Vernon was born 9/05/1735.

73 viii. Mary Venables-Vernon was born 19/12/1739. Mary died 11/12/1821 at 81 years of age. She married George Anson 5/01/1763.
