George John¹⁸ Venables-Vernon 5th Baron Vernon (George Charles¹⁷, Henry¹⁶, George¹⁵ Vernon, Henry¹⁴, George¹³, Henry¹², Edward¹¹, Walter¹⁰, Thomas⁹, Humphrey⁸, Sir Henry⁷, Sir William⁶, Sir Richard⁵, Sir Richard⁴, Sir William³, Sir Robert², William¹) was born 22/06/1803. George died 31/05/1866 at 62 years of age.

He married Isabella Caroline Ellison 1/10/1824. Isabella was the daughter of Cuthbert Ellison. Isabella died 14/10/1853.

Assumed 14 October 1837 by sign manual the surname of Warren only for himself and subsequent issue.

George John Venables-Vernon 5th Baron Vernon and Isabella Caroline Ellison had the following children:

97 i. Adelaide Louisa¹⁹ Venables-Vernon. Adelaide died 15/12/1899. She married Admiral Sir Reginald John Macdonald 12/06/1855. Reginald was born 7/10/1819. i0 of Clanranald. 26th Captain and Chief of his Clan.

98 ii. Caroline Maria Venables-Vernon was born in London c1826. Caroline died 9/09/1885 at 59 years of age. She married Reverend Frederick Anson 7/05/1845. Frederick was born Sudbury, Derbyshire 28/03/1811. He was listed as head of household in the 1871 census in 4 Upper Cloisters, Windsor, Berkshire. She was listed as a resident in the census report in 4 Upper Cloisters, Windsor, Berkshire, 1871.

+ 99 iii. Augustus Henry Venables-Vernon 6th Baron Vernon was born 1/02/1829.

+ 100 iv. William John Borlase-Warren Venables-Vernon was born 1/04/1834.

101 v. Louisa Venables-Vernon was born 12/08/1838. Louisa died 11/02/1894 at 55 years of age. She married Reverend Thomas Parry Garnier 16/04/1873. Thomas died 17/03/1898. i0 Canon of Norwich and Rector of Cranworth.
