First Generation

1. Lestock1 Wilson was born in Dublin, Ireland c1749. Lestock died 6 June 1821 at 71 years of age.

He married Bonne Boileau in Madras, India, 8 August 1780. Bonne was born 20 December 1749. Bonne was the daughter of Simeon Peter Boileau and Magdalen Elizabeth De La Cour Desbrisay. Bonne died 30 November 1818 at 68 years of age.

A captain for the East India Company. He founded Palmer, Wilson and Company, a shipping company. He was Arbitrator for the Honourable East India Company. (the Peerage.com).

Lestock Wilson and Bonne Boileau had the following children:

child 2 i. Alicia Magdalena2 Wilson was born 1782. Alicia died 28 August 1834 at 52 years of age. She married Francis Beaufort in St. Marylebone, London, England, 1812. Francis was born in Dublin, Ireland 1774. Francis died 17 December 1857 in Colchester, Essex, at 83 years of age. (See Francis Beaufort for the continuation of this line.)

child 3 ii. Charlotte Wilson was born in Guildford, Surrey 1787. She was listed as a resident in the census report in 57 Portland Street, Leamington, 1851. Unmarried.

child 4 iii. Lestock Peach Wilson was born in Stoke next Guildford, Surrey 27 May 1788. Lestock died 17 July 1869 in Marylebone, London, at 81 years of age. He married Frances Maria Edgeworth 1 Jan 1829. Frances was born in Castle Ray, Ireland June 1779. Frances died 5 February 1848 in London, at 68 years of age. Had his portrait painted by John Prescott Knight. In 1835 he was a Master of the Mercers Company,

child + 5 iv. John Peter Wilson was born 20 May 1791.

child 6 v. Harriette Frances Wilson was born in Guildford, Surrey 1791. Harriette died 12/11/1855 in Castlenau, Barnes, London, at 64 years of age. She married Reverend John Theophilus De Brisay in Old Church, St. Pancras, London, 10/04/1828. John was born in Dublin, Ireland 24/01/1804. John was the son of Jasper De Brisay and Charlotte Davie. John died 25/09/1846 in Gloucester, at 42 years of age. He was christened in St. Clement, Worcester, Worcs, England, 1/03/1804. She was listed as head of household in the 1851 census in 57 Portland Street, Leamington. Found a Robert Lestock Thorpe listed as visitor, b c1839 in Wookey, Somerset (1851). Name found as Harriette D Brisay on 1851 census.
