1. John Reginald¹ Yorke was born in Marylebone, London 25 January 1836. John died 27 March 1912 at 76 years of age.

He married Augusta Emmiline Monteath Douglas in St. George's Hanover Square, London, 4 March 1862. Augusta was born in Lucknow, Oudh, India 1836. Augusta was the daughter of Thomas Monteath and Lucinda Florence Boileau. Augusta died 19 February 1863 at 26 years of age. She was christened in Lucknow, Oudh, India, 7 October 1836. She was listed as a resident in the census report in 8 Baring Place, Heavitree, Exeter, Devon, 1851.

Educated at Eton and St. John's College, Cambridge. JP and DL for co. Gloucester (High Sheriff 1844). Lived at Forthampton Court, Gloucestershire.

2 i. Augustus² Yorke was born in Edinburgh 11 February 1863. Augustus died 29 June 1891 at 28 years of age. He was listed as a resident in the census report in 42nd Royal Highland Regiment o, Aldershot, Hampshire, 1881. Augustus was a boarder 1891 in Hop Pole Hotel, Church Street, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. 2nd Lieutenant in the 42nd Royal Highland Regiment of Foot (1881).
