He married Emma Broderip 19/10/1841. Emma was the daughter of Edmund Broderip.

+ 5 ii. Walker Busfield was born 13/08/1843.

6 iii. Gertrude Busfield was born in Bingley, Yorkshire c1847. She was listed as a resident in the census report in Charlton Street, Kilmersdon, Somerset, 1881.
