He married Constance Pleydell Bouverie 3/09/1879. Constance was born 13/07/1854. Constance was the daughter of Philip Pleydell Bouverie and Jane Seymour. Constance died 24/01/1887 at 32 years of age.

He was listed as head of household in the 1891 census in Clynderwen House, Llandissilio, Carmarthenshire. Married to Rosa R. b c. 1863 in Lincoln (91).
