5. John⁵ Campbell Baron Cawdor (Pryse⁴, John³, Sir Alexander², Sir Hugh¹) was born 24/04/1755. John died 1/06/1821 at 66 years of age.

He married Lady Isabella Caroline Howard in Grosvenor Place, London, 28/07/1789. Isabella was born 3/09/1771. Isabella was the daughter of Frederick Howard 5th Earl of Carlisle and Margaret Caroline Leveson-Gower. Isabella died 8/03/1848 at 76 years of age.

John Campbell Baron Cawdor and Lady Isabella Caroline Howard had the following children:

6 i. Rear-Admiral George Pryse⁶ Campbell. He married Charlotte Gascoyne 13/10/1821.

+ 7 ii. John Frederick Campbell 2nd Baron Cawdor was born 8/11/1790.
