Sir Edward²⁰ Worsley (Edward¹⁹, John¹⁸, Sir Edward¹⁷, John¹⁶, Thomas¹⁵, John¹⁴, Sir James¹³, Hugh¹² Workesley, Ralph¹¹ de Workesley, Sir Geoffrey¹⁰, Jordan⁹, Richard⁸, Henry⁷, Richard⁶, Geoffrey⁵, Richard⁴, Roger³, Richard², Sir Elias¹) was born c1717. Edward died August 1762 at 45 years of age.

He married Elizabeth Miller 10/01/1737. Elizabeth was the daughter of John Miller 2nd Baronet and Elizabeth Meux. Elizabeth died March 1774.

Edward was knighted 8/03/1744. High Sheriff of Hampshire.

Sir Edward Worsley and Elizabeth Miller had the following children:

91 i. Jane²¹ Worsley was born 1740. Her body was interred in Gatcombe, Isle of Wight. She married Reverend Arthur Hodgkinson in Gatcombe, Isle of Wight, 5/04/1781. Buried Gatcombe, Isle of Wight.

92 ii. John Meux Worsley was born November 1741. John died March 1742 at less than one year of age.

93 iii. Elizabeth Worsley was born 1743. She married Sir Samuel Marshall 09/10/1764. Samuel was born c1743. Samuel was the son of Samuel Marshall. (See Sir Samuel Marshall for the continuation of this line.)

94 iv. Anne Worsley was born 1745. She married Admiral Richard Rodney Bligh 13/11/1765. Richard was born 1737. Richard died 1821 at 84 years of age. i0 of Wickham.

+ 96 vi. Reverend James Worsley was born 1748.

97 vii. Thomas Worsley was born 1750. Thomas died 13/05/1777 at 26 years of age. His body was interred 1777 in Gatcombe, Isle of Wight. Rector of Wolverton, Isle of Wight.

98 viii. John Worsley was born 1751. John died 1783 at 32 years of age. Died unmarried. Lieutenant in the Army.

99 ix. Mary Worsley was born 1753. Mary died 21/12/1827 at 74 years of age. Her body was interred 1827 in Gatcombe, Isle of Wight. She married J. Chapman in Gatcombe, Isle of Wight, 18/11/1779. i0 Found name as Isham Chapman?
