1. John¹ Erskine 2nd Lord Mar birth date unknown.

He married Lady Mary Stuart 7/12/1592. Mary was the daughter of Esmé Stuart 1st Duke of Lennox. Mary died 1644.

John Erskine 2nd Lord Mar and Lady Mary Stuart had the following child:

2 i. Lady Mary² Erskine. She married twice. She married William Keith 5th Earl Marischal 1609. William was born 1585. William was the son of George Keith 4th Earl Marischal and Margaret Home. William died 2/10/1635 in Dunotter Castle, Kincardineshire, at 50 years of age. His body was interred 26/12/1635 in Dunotter Church. William signed a marriage contract with Lady Mary Erskine 12/10/1609. (See William Keith 5th Earl Marischal for the continuation of this line.) She married Patrick Maule Earl of Panmure 15/07/1639.
