21. Reverend John⁸ Gooch (Thomas⁷, Thomas⁶, William⁵, William⁴, Robert³, Thomas², Peter¹) was born 8/08/1729. John died 7/01/1804 at 74 years of age. His body was interred 1804 in Wells Cathedral.

He married Mary Sayer 24/05/1751. Mary was the daughter of George Sayer. Mary died 1804.

Rector Ditton-on-Wellingham, Cambridgeshire and Prebendary of Ely.

Reverend John Gooch and Mary Sayer had the following children:

26 i. Mary⁹ Gooch. She married Venerable Houstoune Radcliffe 8/01/1783. i0 Vicar of Gillingham, Kent and Archdeacon of Canterbury.

27 ii. Rachel Gooch was born 26/09/1757. Rachel died 3/12/1839 in St. George's Hanover Square, London, at 81 years of age. She married Reverend Richard Beadon in Ditton, 19/08/1778. Richard was born in Pinkworthy, Devon 15/04/1737. Richard was the son of Robert Beadon and Mary Squire. Richard died 21/04/1824 in Bath, Somerset, at 87 years of age. His body was interred 1824 in Wells Cathedral. He was baptized in Oakford, Devon, 15/04/1737. Religion: religion unknown. (See Reverend Richard Beadon for the continuation of this line.)

She resided in Charles Street, Berkeley Square, London 1824.
