5. Granville⁵ Leveson-Gower 1st Marquis of Stafford (John⁴, John³, Sir William², Sir Thomas¹ Gower) was born 4/08/1721. Granville died 26/10/1803 at 82 years of age.

He married Elizabeth Fazakerley. Elizabeth was the daughter of Nicholas Fazakerley.

Granville Leveson-Gower 1st Marquis of Stafford had the following children:

6 i. Granville⁶ Leveson-Gower 2nd Marquis of Stafford.

7 ii. Anne Leveson-Gower was born 1761. Anne died 16/11/1832 in Bishopthorpe Palace, York, at 71 years of age. She married Edward Venables-Vernon in St. Martin-in-the-Fields, London, 5/02/1784. Edward was born 10/10/1757. Edward⁽⁵⁸⁾ was the son of George Vernon Baron of Kinderton and Martha Harcourt. Edward died 5/11/1847 in Bishopthorpe Palace, York, at 90 years of age. His body was interred 1847 in Stanton Harcourt Parish Church, Oxfordshire. (See Edward Venables-Vernon for the continuation of this line.)
