married John Wyndham. John was the son of Sir John Wyndham and Joan Portman. John died 1649. (See John Wyndham for the continuation of this line.)
1. Robert1 Hopton was born 1579. Robert died 1638 at 59 years of age.
He married Janet Kemeys. Janet was the daughter of Rowland Kemeys. of Witham Friary, Somerset. M.P. for Shaftesbury 1604-1611; M.P. for Somerset 1621-1622; Sheriff of Somerset, 1618-1619. Built house on Evercreech Park in 1609 - 1617.
