4. William³ Keith Lord Keith and Master of Marischal (William², Robert¹) was born c1535. William died circa 09/08/1580 in Dunotter Castle, Kincardineshire, at approximately 45 years of age.

He married Lady Elizabeth Hay 13/01/1544. Elizabeth was born c1530. Elizabeth was the daughter of George Hay 7th Earl of Erroll.

William Keith Lord Keith and Master of Marischal and Lady Elizabeth Hay had the following children:

5 i. William⁴ Keith. William died 1577 in Geneva, Switzerland.

+ 6 ii. George Keith 4th Earl Marischal was born 1553.
