19. George William James7 Lysaght 6th Baron Lisle (John Arthur6, George5, John4, John3, Nicholas2, John1) was born in Gloucestershire 29/01/1840.

He married Amy Emily Langford 31/10/1868. Amy was born in Wandsworth, London c1832. Amy was the daughter of Ayliffe Langford and Charlotte Ann Pavey. Amy died 1918 at 86 years of age. She was listed as a resident in the census report in Beach Cottage, Newchurch, Isle of Wight, 1841. She was listed as a resident in the census report in 17 Grosvenor Street, St. Helier, Jersey, 1861.

The death is announced of the Right Hon. George William James Lysaght, sixth Baron Lisle in the peerage of Ireland. He was of advanced age and for a long time in feeble heath. In early life he held a commission in the South Devon Militia Artillery and saw active service as a volunteer in the Maori war in New Zealand.

The Lysaght family is of ancient descent, an ancestor having fought in Flanders for the Protestant cause in Elizabeth's reign, and another in the same cause at the Battle of the Boyne in 1690, when extensive lands in Cork and Limerick were conferred for distinguished service. By his marriage with Amy Emily, a daughter of the late Ayliffe Langford, Lord Lisle had two children-a son, the Hon. Horace George Lysaght, who died five months ago, and a daughter, the Hon. Kathleen Eliy. A grandson, John Nicholas Lysaght, a minor, succeeds as seventh baron.

Two nephews of Lord Lisle served in the present war-Major Marwood, York and Lancaster Regiment, wounded in France, and Captain Charles Marwood, Royal Warwickshire Regiment, killed in Cameroon.

George William James Lysaght 6th Baron Lisle and Amy Emily Langford had the following children:
