21. William⁶ Keith 6th Earl of Marischal (William⁵, George⁴, William³, William², Robert¹) was born 1614. William died March 1671 in Inverugie, Aberdeenshire, at 56 years of age.

He married twice. He married Lady Elizabeth Seton 1637. Elizabeth was born 1621. Elizabeth was the daughter of George Seton 3rd Earl of Winton. Elizabeth died June 1650 at 28 years of age. He married Lady Anne Douglas 1654. Anne was the daughter of Robert Douglas 8th Earl of Morton.

William Keith 6th Earl of Marischal had the following child:

22 i. Lady Mary⁷ Keith. She married Sir James Hope 29/10/1657. James was born 4/07/1614. James was the son of Sir Thomas Hope and Elizabeth Bennet. James died 23/11/1661 in Granton, Edinburgh, at 47 years of age. James was knighted 1641.
