2. Thomas2 Monteath (Thomas1) was born in Hanover, Jamaica 25 November 1788. Thomas died 18 October 1868 in Stone Byres, Lanarkshire, Scotland, at 79 years of age.
He married Lucinda Florence Boileau in Meerut, North Western Province, India, 20 July 1826. Lucinda was born 1 May 1797. Lucinda was the daughter of Simeon Peter Boileau and Hannah De Renzi. Lucinda died 2 September 1837 in Lucknow, Oudh, India, at 40 years of age.
Changed his surname to Douglas on 18 Dec 1850.

She was christened in St. John' s, Calcutta, India, 9 February 1834. She was listed as a resident in the census report in 8 Baring Place, Heavitree, Exeter, Devon, 1851. She was listed as a resident in the census report in 19-20 Moray Place, Edinburgh, 1871.

Augusta Emmiline Monteath Douglas was born in Lucknow, Oudh, India 1836. Augusta died 19 February 1863 at
26 years of age. She married John Reginald Yorke in St. George's Hanover Square, London, 4 March
1862. John was born in Marylebone, London 25 January 1836. John died 27 March 1912 at 76 years of age. (See John Reginald Yorke for the continuation of this line.)
She was christened in Lucknow, Oudh, India, 7 October 1836. She was listed as a resident in the census report in 8 Baring Place, Heavitree, Exeter, Devon, 1851.
