At St. Cuthbert's, Edinburgh, yesterday, the marriage took place of Commander Alfred S. Balfour, R.I.M., and Miss Millicent Balfour Paul, daughter of Sir James Balfour Paul (Lyon King of Arms) and Lady Balfour Paul, of 30 Heriot-row, Edinburgh. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. A. Wallace Williamson, D.D. The bride, who was robed in soft white satin draped with old Limerick lace, with a train of crystal-embroidered net festooned with sprays of white heather and orange blossom, was given away by her father. She was attended by two pages, Master Nairn Macfarlane and Master Pat Kilpatrick, and four bridesmaids, Miss Marshall, Miss Ruth Martin, Miss Audley Macfarlane, and Miss Grizel Balfour Paul. They were dressed alike in white satin trimmed with gold embroidery, and wore gold filet net hats trimmed with pink roses and white marabout. Commander A. Rowland, D.S.O., R.I.M., was best man. Lady Balfour Paul held a reception at 30, Heriot-row.
