As far as I can make out, leaving no male issue, Edward Charles left his estate to his cousin, Edward Henry Ashe à Court, who assumed the name of Repington in accordance with the will.
Charles married Catherine Jesse Cholmley, daughter of Henry Fane Cholmley and Unknown, on 20 June 1805. (Catherine Jesse Cholmley died on 3 July 1847 and was buried in 1847 in Tamworth Church.)
