Orpha married Edward George Symms, son of Charles John Symms and Martha Northover, in December 1917 in Spokane, Washington. (Edward George Symms was born on 10 November 1889 in Hastings, Sussex, died on 3 March 1938 and was buried on 7 March 1938 in Los Angeles National Cemetery.)
