In 1773-4 travelled through France, Germany, Italy and Poland. Had three sons and one daughter with Elizabeth Beauclerk. Had one son and five daughters with Catherine Woronzow.
George married Catherine Woronzow, daughter of Count Simon Woronzow and Catherine Siniavin, on 25 January 1808 in Marylebone, London. (Catherine Woronzow was born on 24 October 1783 in Venice, Italy and died on 27 March 1856 in 1 Grafton Street, Mayfair, London.)
