Reverend Alexander Arbuthnot ⁵⁹⁸

Educated at Marischal College, Aberdeen. Minister of Arbuthnott. Had 4
daughters. On 24 September 1689 the Reverend Alexander, with other
ministers who would not conform and take the oaths to William and
Mary, was deposed from his parish by the privy council in Edinburgh.

Alexander married Margaret Lammie, daughter of John Lammie and Unknown, on 4 April 1666.²³¹

Alexander next married Catherine Ochterlony.
