Ludford-Astley - On June 21, 1937, at Cires-les-Mello, France, as a result of a flying accident. Benjamin Alexander Ludford-Astley, 2nd Lieut., Scots Guards, dearly loved son of the late Capt. A. G. L. Astley and Mrs Bridges, of 12 Sloane Court, S.W., aged 22 years. Found in The Times, June 24, 1937 Ludford-Astley - A memorial service will be held for Benjamin Alexander Ludford-Astley at the Guards Chapel, Wellington Barracks, at 12.15 p.m. to-morrow (Friday). The funeral service to he held later will be private. Flowers may be sent to Messrs. Kenyon, Ltd. 12, Church Street, Kensington, W.8.
