Lady Edith Legard, widow of Brigadier-General D'Arcy Legard, C.M.G.,
D.S.O., died in hospital at Tenbury, Worcestershire, on Saturday. She
was Lady Edith Margaret Emily Mary, daughter of the first Earl of
Liverpool, P.C., and she was married in 1908. Her husband died in
1953.

  Noted events in her life were:

1. She appeared on the census in 1911 in Westhorpe House, 2 Westwood, Scarborough, Yorkshire. ⁸

2. Her funeral was held on 7 November 1962 in Knighton-On-Teme Parish Church.

Edith married D'arcy Legard, son of Reverend Francis Digby Legard and Jane Vernon-Harcourt, on 19 November 1908 in St. Peter's, Eaton Square, London. (D'arcy Legard was born on 5 June 1873 in Stokesley, Yorkshire ⁸ and died on 9 March 1953 in Tenbury, Worcestershire.)
