Emilie married Lestock Handley Adams, son of Reverend Henry Frederick Spencer Adams and Ethel Emma Louisa Reid, on 19 August 1913. (Lestock Handley Adams was born on 10 November 1887 in Southport, Lancashire and died on 22 April 1918 in Battle Of The Lys, Ypres, France.)
