Lieut.-Col. Sir Raymond Boileau
Lieutenant-Colonel Sir Raymond Frederic Boileau, fourth baronet, of Wymondham, Norfolk, who died on June 23 at the age of 73, was a direct descendant of Etienne Boileau, Baron de Castelnau and St. Croix, who was appointed Governor of Paris and first Grand Provost of France in 1250. He served in France throughout the last war with The Royal Fusiliers and the R.G.A., and was mentioned in despatches when commanding the Labour Corps. Since 1926 he had been Provincial Grand Master of Freemasons for Norfolk. He married in 1905 Ethel Mary Young (Ethel Boileau, the novelist), who died last January. His successor in the title is his cousin, Mr. Francis James Boileau.
