  General Notes:

A younger son of the Sieur des Bouveries, of Chateau des Bouveries near Lille in Flanders, he was a merchant in the silk and cloth trade. To flee the religious persecution in the Netherlands, in 1568 he went to Sandwich in England, finally settling in London. Brothers Jean Des Bouveries and Antoine Des Bouveries.

Laurens married Barbe Van den Hove. (Barbe Van den Hove died in 1591 in Canterbury, Kent.)
