John Heathcote, 2nd Baronet ⁶¹

  General Notes:

He was MP for Grantham 1715 - 1722, and for Bodmin 1733 - 1741. he
became a Director of the East India Company and in 1722 President of
St. Thomas' Hospital. He was a trustee of the British Museum and
Vice-President of the Foundling Hospital. he was also a patron of the
poet Dyer, who in 1757 refers to him in 'The Fleece'.

John married Bridget White on 5 August 1720. (Bridget White was born c 1704 and died on 5 May 1772.)
