Of Cabbage Tree Hall, Barbados. Cabbage Tree Hall was so named because it had a double row of "cabbage trees" (royal palms) at the sides of the drive which were destroyed in the hurricane of 1780 and later it was called Alleynedale Hall. It was supposed to be haunted, because Mr. William Terrill committed suicide by cutting his throat in one of the servant's rooms. He walks up the stirs and opens doors.

William married Rebecca Spiar, daughter of Colonel Thomas Spiar and Mary Turner.
