Peter Chardon 174
General Notes: Of Boston, Massachusetts Colony. From The Gazetta, of Dominica, W.I., Charlottetown, Oct 1767, "Last night about 11 o'clock died here. Peter Chardon, Esq., barrister-at-law. It is hard to say whether a thorough knowledge of his profession or the unblemished integrity and honour with which he acted was the greatest. In him were jointed the finished scholar and the complete gentleman, and he is not only universally lamented as such, but as a real loss to the colony." 1108 Peter married Mary Alleyne, daughter of Abel Alleyne and Mary Woodbridge, 2 sep2 sep 1750 in King's Chapel, Boston, MA.1108 (Mary Alleyne was born in 1720 in Barbados 1100,1109, christened on 4 June 1720 in St. Michaels, Barbados 1109 and died in Boston, Massachusetts 1100.) Peter next married Sarah Colman. |
