Lady Alleyne, wife of Sir John Gay Newtnn Alleyne, the third baronet, of Chevin, Belper, died at Falmouth on Friday
Augusta Elizabeth, Lady Alleyne, was the fiftth and last surviving daughter of the late Sir Henry FitzHerbert, of Tissington Hall, Derbyshire. She celebrated her 82 birthday on September 3, and her husband completed his 90th year five days afterwards. Lady Alleyne married in March 1851, and would thus have celebrated her diamond wedding had she lived six months longer. She had two sons and eight daughters. The elder son, Reynold Henry Newton, who was born in 1852 and married in 1879, Susanna, third daughter of Mr. John Meynell, of Tapton Grove, died in 1908, leaving two sons, both of whom are in the Navy, and five daughters. Lady Alleyne's second son died in 1859.
Augusta married Sir John Gay Newton Alleyne, 3rd Baronet, son of Sir Reynold Abel Alleyne, 2nd Baronet and Rebecca Olton, on 11 March 1851 in Tissington Church, Derbyshire 1321,1322.,1323 (Sir John Gay Newton Alleyne, 3rd Baronet was born on 8 September 1820 in Alleynedale Hall, Barbados,1321 died on 20 February 1912 in 3 Cambridge Place, Falmouth, Cornwall 1325 and was buried on 23 February 1912 in Falmouth, Cornwall.)
