Agatha Halyburton ¹⁶⁹

  General Notes:

James had 5 sons by his first wife Agatha Halyburton, 4 of which
predeceased him. After Agatha's death in 1748, James married Bridget
Heathcote with whom he also had a son. James died in 1768 and the
family possessions passed to his only surviving son by Agatha
Halyburton.

Agatha married James Douglas, 14th Earl of Morton, son of George Douglas, 13th Earl of Morton and Frances Adderley, before 1731. (James Douglas, 14th Earl of Morton was born in 1702 in Edinburgh and died on 12 October 1768 in Chiswick, London.)
