John married Frances Worsley, daughter of Robert Worsley, 4th Baronet and Frances Thynne, on 17 October 1710. (Frances Worsley was born on 6 March 1694, died on 20 June 1743 and was buried on 23 December 1743 in General Monk's Vault, Westminster Abbey.)
John next married Lady Sophia Fermor on 14 April 1744. (Lady Sophia Fermor was born in 1721 and died in October 1745.)
