Educated at Charterhouse School and Trinity College, Oxford, matriculated 4 May, 1796, BA 1800, took orders in 1801, MA, 1804. Vicar of Titley, and North Stoneham in succession to his father. Prebendary of Compton Bishop, 1809 - 1879. Rector of Titley, Herefordshire,1811 - 1879. Chancellor of Wells Cathedral, 1823. At the age of 100 received a signed photograph from Queen Victoria.
Frederick married Marianne Wilder, daughter of Reverend Henry Wilder and Unknown, in 1803.
