Emily married John Inglis Balfour-Melville, son of Leslie Melville Balfour-Melville and Jeanie Amelia Wilson, in 1907. (John Inglis Balfour-Melville was born in 1881 and died on 16 April 1963 in Edinburgh ¹³.)
