Colonel Frederick Alleyne Corfield, Indian Army, died at Delhi on Saturday of pneumonia at the age of 54, states Reuter. He was awarded the D.S.O. in 1917 and made O.B.E. in 1919. The eldest son of the late Mr. Frederick Channer Corfield, he married in 1907 Mary Graham, eldest surviving daughter of Thomas Bowater Vernon, of Hanbury, and had a son and a daughter.
