Abel Alleyne 1093General Notes: Of Turner's Hall, Barbados and Squirrie's Court, Kent. On his marriage to Elizabeth Booth, widow of Sir William Booth and mother of Elizabeth, three plantations in St. James, St. Peter and St. Andrew, containing 495 acres of land with two dwellinghouses, two stone windmills, two boilinghouses, and a large number of slaves, cattle, and sheep for £11.000. Noted events in his life were: 1. He signed a will on 6 April 1726. 1096 Codicil dated 6 July 1726 2. He had an estate probated on 7 July 1727. 1096 Abel married Elizabeth Booth, daughter of Sir William Booth and Rosamund Meynell, in 1713.1307 (Elizabeth Booth was born c 1697,1307 died in November 1746 1307 and was buried on 6 November 1746 in St. James, Barbados 1307.) The cause of her death was Jaundice. |
